A MUSICAL TRIBUTE
The Funeral Singer
A MUSICAL TRIBUTE
Eileen McCann (P.Dip.AGM Hons) is a professional funeral singer, whose crystal clear voice has been described as ‘the voice of an angel’.
She has been singing at funerals for over 17 years and is guaranteed to add a beautiful and memorable ambience to the Funeral Service, ensuring a dignified ceremony.
As a soloist, Eileen plays instrumentals on the violin to create a warm atmosphere before the service actually begins. During the funeral service Eileen plays the guitar to accompany her angelic voice.
Additional accompanying musicians may be added to provide a range of instrumentation, e.g. flute, harp, cello. As a duo combination the addition of the keyboard or organ and harmony vocals adds a further dimension to the music.
Performing at a funeral requires a special type of sensitivity that can only come with experience. Funeral singing requires a knowledge of how the Funeral Service works and the ability to remain composed and professional.

To Dear Eileen,
Many thanks for helping us make this very important time memorable. Music was a very special part of Kath’s life (and ours), and she would have really loved your amazing voice, especially knowing that you are of Irish descent like her.
I hope our paths will cross again, but next time on a much happier occasion.
Kind regards,
Rob, Nadia, Christine, Ray and the Warin Family
